This year, everyone who registers will get to participate.

You can share it but only those who registered to participate are allowed to view it.(You can register even during the broadcast.)
No, the presentation is centered around field experience content, and there will be no actual field experience undertaken.
Presentations will be available for rewatch after the end of DEVIEW 2020.

Privacy Policy

DEVIEW, provided by NAVER Corporation (“Company”), complies with the codes of personal data protection of related regulations that the person in charge of handling the private information is obligated to abide by. These include the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, Etc., the Personal Information Protection Act, the Protection of Communications Secrets Act, and the Telecommunications Business Act. DEVIEW’s Privacy Policy is based on related laws in order to ensure protection of rights and interests of the information subjects.

1. Collection method of personal data

Private information is directly collected from the user during login on the DEVIEW homepage and the conference application process.

2. Purpose, items, and storage period of collected personal data

2-1. DEVIEW login
- Items of collection: NAVER login ID, identifier, nickname
- Purpose of collection and usage: Conference registration and guidance for the event, survey email that will be sent after the event
- Period of storage and usage: Stored for 2 weeks after the conference is over and then immediately disposed
2-2. DEVIEW registration
- Items of collection: [Required] Name, affiliation (company/department or school/major), contact information (mobile); [Optional] Email address
- Purpose of collection and usage: Conference registration and guidance for the event, survey email that will be sent after the event
- Period of storage and usage: Stored for 2 weeks after the conference is over and then immediately disposed
2-3. DEVIEW Call for Speakers
- Items of collection: Name, affiliation (company/department or school/major), contact information (mobile), email address, LinkedIn or GihHub ID
- Purpose of collection and usage: Recruitment and selection of DEVIEW conference presenters, promotion of DEVIEW’s survey and recruitment
- Period of storage and usage: Stored for 1 year after the conference is over and then immediately disposed
  However, if related laws require that the information be stored, it shall be stored separately in compliance with related laws.

3. Provision and consignment of handling personal data to a third party

If law mandates consent to provision and consignment of handling to a third party, the consent shall be explicitly requested from the user. Below are types of consignment of handling that can substitute for consent of disclosure.

4. Procedure and method of disposing personal data

By principle, users’ personal data will be immediately disposed after the expiration of the storage time period or has served its purpose.

5. Rights of users and legal agents, and exercising those rights

A user or legal agent can search or request edits to one’s own registered personal data or that of someone less than 14 years of age at any time, and may also request for the information to be deleted. If you want your information to be deleted, please contact the ‘person in charge of personal data protection’ via email or phone and your request will be processed without any delay.

6. Details regarding installation and operation of automatic personal data collection mechanism, and refusal of said installation and operation

This website does not install or operate any automatic personal data collection mechanism.
