Ubuntu powers the cloud and ships on millions of PCs world wide. Now it's coming to your phone and tablet. This talk will survey some of the unique features of Ubuntu Touch and then introduce the app development ecosystem, which includes native support for Qt/QML and deep hooks for HTML5 apps.

발표자 소개Alex Chiang Canonical

Alex Chiang is an engineering manager at Canonical, the sponsor of Ubuntu. For the past three years, Alex has been focused on shipping Ubuntu on various ARM devices, including netbooks, thin clients, and now phones and tablets. Prior to Canonical, Alex was a Linux kernel developer. He has a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
